Malabrigo, a small family owned company from Uruguay, works closely with a women's co-operative to hand dye these lovely 100% Merino yarns. The skeins are a generous 215 yards of one-ply heaven. It is a perfect worsted weight and an average women's sweater takes about 6 hanks. This yarn is very comparable to Manos del Uruguay, at about 2/3 of the cost. We know you won't be disappointed in any color you select, and these photos don't capture the depth and beauty of these hand dyed yarns.
